4,5 ⭐️ With every book I read in this odd and quirky post-apocalyptic rom-com-action-swoon-fest of a series, I just keep loving it more and more. With each new books character pair, the book also get its own flair reflective of the new “lovers to be”, in tone, tempo and vibe. It’s truly impressive, as is the well planed structure that weaves new threads into the existing storyline and skilfully lay the foundation to bridge into the next book, without the use of cliffhangers or sloppily loose threads. The blurb for this book seemed fun and OTT so I planed to “have a quick listen” and then skip this new generation of Nmen, Not so much! This one grabbed me the hardest with it’s outright sarcastic vibe, gender-intrigue and quippy banter in perfect harmony with the honest and heartfelt emotions, I was hooked AGAIN. So I’m on to the next one ❤️
