A murder in a quiet village proves that secrets can hide behind even the most respectable doors.
St. Mary Mead appears to be an ordinary English village—until the local vicar discovers a dead man in his study. With suspicion spreading throughout the community and every resident seemingly connected to the victim in some way, the investigation quickly becomes anything but simple.
Fortunately, the seemingly gentle and observant Miss Jane Marple is paying attention. Her intimate understanding of human nature allows her to notice details that others overlook and recognize motives hidden beneath polite appearances.
The Murder at the Vicarage is the first full-length Miss Marple mystery and a classic example of Agatha Christie's talent for combining village life, clever detection, psychological insight, and unexpected revelations.
Enter St. Mary Mead and discover why appearances can be the most deceptive clue of all.

Inte min favoritbok av Christie, kändes lite långdragen och mysteriet var inte så jätteintressant. Men ändå kul att ta del av första boken med Miss Marple. Bra uppläst.
