This is an ok romance in Via’s usual style, with some delicious hot bits. However, I had a hard time liking Jacob, despite all his tragedies. I felt he demanded a lot of his partners without being willing to compromise a bit; even demanding they give up their own dreams and scholarships and being unwilling to listen to them. He could have saved himself a lot of grief without his “my way or the highway” attitude. He does redeem himself, of course, and Wild was a sweet, caring guy.
