Don't read if you struggle with dieting or eating disorders or if you believe you have to go to the gym to get a guy. I hated Carlos most of the time simply because of how many times he was like "she's not my type - I'm not attracted to girls like her" because what guy who thinks like that actually likes her?? I just don't believe that a guy who has never believed in long-term relationship and only gone out with skinny blondes would change just because of a funny, smart and overweight girl. That is not to say she can't have a hot and attractive guy fall in love with her - I truly believe that she can but for the first half of the book Carlos feels like a douche and then just all of a sudden changes to a caring and loving guy. (I am also overweight btw) I also think that this author should take a page out of Amy Award's books and give a trigger warning at the start of the books because there is A LOT of fatphobia (internal and external), misogony and bad eating habits (diets, ED, not eating what you want).

Utdragen och ojämn. HON är charmig och snärtig men kan inte släppa sin trista inställning till sig själv och sin vikt, det blir tjatigt. HAN är vidrig och sjukt självgod helt utan charm eller humor. Dessutom ”kan han inte förstå” varför han intresserar sig för HENNE. Hon är ju allt han INTE vill ha och verkligen inte den kroppstyp han gillar. Detta tjat fortsätter i oändlighet och det blivande paret träffas bara 1 gång under 75% av boken. Efter att utlovat vara en ”förlängning” av Knitting in the City känns den avslagen och blir tyvärr underkänd.
