Postcards From a Distant Now : Black and White Photography

A photograph is often accompanied by a caption. If it is so that the imagery is a means of communication on its own, it seems absolutely superfluous to enclose captions. Different processes seem to be behind this general effort of densification of images. This book presents some images, postcards, as I like to think about them. And there are no captions.
