A former United States general, seeking revenge against his government, provides a prototype jet to Venezuelan rebels occupying a fortified silver mine. The rebels detain American hostages and plan a three-phase attack on the United States: disabling electrical grids, bombing strategic locations with the jet, and deploying a drone squadron carrying a virus. A counter-terrorism team, assisted by a reluctant autistic savant and an untested humanoid, must rescue the hostages and prevent the attack.
