Summary of Brian Grazer's A Curious Mind is an examination of the impact of curiosity on Grazer's life and movie production career. In a memoir style, he describes how his curiosity gave him the opportunity to leave law school for a law clerk position with Warner Bros. He used his position to meet with famous people and encourage them to speak to him on a variety of topics, meetings he would later refer to as “curiosity conversations”. He later embarked on his goal of becoming a movie producer, working on films and producing his first successful movies with Ron Howard directing in the early 1980s. Grazer continued to set up curiosity conversations that often inspired him and helped him to improve the movies he produced. Eventually, curiosity conversations become such a significant part of Grazer's life that he hired a full-time assistant to arrange these brief one-on-one meetings with interesting people. Grazer conducted almost 500 curiosity conversations in the course of his 35 year career.
