GEORGE ORWELL was born in India in 1903, and died in London in 1950. As a journalist, critic, and author, he was a keen observer of his time and its political conditions and consequences.

Absolutely heart wrenching. Perfectly captures the Soviet union. 100% recommend to anyone of age, but specifically historically politically engaged people, such as myself. Will surely be reading it again sometime soon. 10/10
