Under curse, sons are Vasus, fate sealed and seen.

Devavratha, later Bhishma, vows celibacy true,

To ensure Satyavathi's son inherits, his duty anew.

Vichitravirya's reign begins, with Bhishma as guide,

Amba, Ambika, Ambalika, princesses does provide.

The Pandavs face trials, in forests dark and deep,

Their journey marked by battles, and gods they keep.

Draupadi's Swayamvara, a test of strength and might,

Arjun wins her hand, in the morning's golden light.
