Om den här boken

Two idle apprentices set out for the north of England and find themselves stopped by an injury, a haunted house and a horse race. Dickens wrote it with Wilkie Collins after a walking tour they took together in 1857; the chapters alternate and it is easy to hear which is which. This edition is bound with 59 plates of painting, among them works by William Holman Hunt, Adolph Tidemand and Joseph Heard.
