Bridal blues

Melissa was shocked when the man calls her Lissa. The only one who’d ever called her that before was her childhood friend Nick. But in front of her stood a strong, handsome man, the complete opposite of the timid, skinny, glasses-wearing boy she’d once known! After not seeing each other for twenty years, Nick had come back into Melissa’s life, and not a moment too soon. She was hurting, having just been abandoned by her fiancé. After discovering that the other villagers gossip about and pity her, Nick suggests they pretend to be a couple. That way no one will pity her anymore, and maybe her fiancé would even return!
