The baby she was supposed to attend to died while Ruth was alone with the baby in the bursary and this led to a court case that would teach us lessons aboutempathy, forgiveness and love.

This incident has not only affected Ruth's life but also the people around her, especially her son, Edison. However, with empathy, forgiveness and love, all things canheal. Racism comes in many forms; active racism, passive racism and even when we are being overly nice to the minority groups.
