Seventeen-year-old Leda witnesses a hate crime against a gay couple from her school. Now she must decide if she should risk her family's stability by telling the police what she knows. Jonathan, one of the victims of the crime struggles with his recovery and the guilt of not protecting his boyfriend. When Leda and Jonathan are swept together by chance, both must reckon with fundamental questions of loyalty and courage.
