Of course, the future is frightening. The question is: should we stop believing?
BOOK 2 - The Promised Land
Matilda wakes up in a dark, damp, disused place.
Occasionally, a stranger comes to feed and care for her. His face looks familiar, but who is he? Where is she?
She has forgotten everything about her past. She only knows one thing: if she doesn't find people to help her, she won't survive.
But how will she do that in a place where danger seems to be everywhere and where she doesn't know all the rules?
She knows nothing of this world in which she has nothing, not even an identity...
