This book illustrates lichens that were recently collected in the temperate to subtropical states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. For some species, these are the first colour illustrations published. Parmeliaceae are well represented in this book, depicting some species with very limited distributions. Full synonymies are given, and species descriptions.
