President Jack Spiers fled Washington DC on the heels of a devastating attack on CIA headquarters, masterminded by one of America's own, former General Porter Madigan. While the world believes Jack was killed in the bombing, he embarks on a wild infiltration mission, smuggling himself into occupied Russia to rescue the love of his life: former Secret Service Agent and First Gentleman Ethan Reichenbach.

- 6/5 stars. The series took my breath away, in every sense of the expression. I finished this third part just as January 6th 2021 events were shared to the world from Washington DC on social media. The timing packed an even bigger punch to the story. The relationships morphing as time and choices, and uncontrollable events pull people further into their destinies are so full of emotion and lifelike struggle, it makes me really appreciate the author. Not to mention the research on global politic, military and secret service, etc details, which must have taken ages. A huge kudos to the narrator who made a plethora of characters alive, distinctive, and memorable. And so deliciously charismatic one couldn't not love and hate them... Despite some superhero-like troupes, I enjoyed immensely the way the author handled the endgame in politics, bureaucracy, and media.
