We all want to be content. But what does contentment mean in your particular life? Does contentment mean that you need a lot of possessions or material things? Contentment is described in the dictionary as; satisfied, not displeased. To be at peace with oneself. So, in the context of the description, is that you in any way? Some people believe that if they possessed more things or had better luck, they would be more grateful. However, the number of things that you accumulate will not affect your attitude. Gratitude is an attitude that can easily be cultivated, no matter your current situation. Admittedly, it can be challenging to stop and think about what we are grateful for in our lives when we are faced with everyday struggles. But when you can stop and show gratitude for what you have, you will experience amazing benefits.
