Der Band geht von störungstheoretischen Überlegungen aus und zeigt, inwieweit die Corona-Pandemie zu einem Störfall mit grenzüberschreitenden Wirkungen geworden ist. Die Pandemie betrifft in globaler Perspektive sämtliche Teilsysteme von Gesellschaft und hat entsprechende Reaktionen ausgelöst. Die Beiträge fragen danach, in welcher Weise u. a. Politik und Medien in der entstandenen Ausnahmesituation agieren. Nicht zuletzt geht es um die Rolle, die Kunst und Literatur bei der Auseinandersetzung mit einem Störfall wie der Pandemie spielen.
The volume starts from disruption theory considerations and shows to what extent the Corona pandemic has become a disruptive event with transboundary effects. From a global perspective, the pandemic affects all subsystems of society and has triggered corresponding reactions. The contributions ask in what way politics and the media, among others, are acting in the exceptional situation that has arisen. Last but not least, the role of art and literature in dealing with a disruptive event such as the pandemic will be discussed.
