A 12th century letter confirms Peter and Mary's suspicion that the Templars were in possession of a terrible secret that is now threatening the Church. In a daredevil operation, Peter makes his way to a mysterious island mentioned in the document. Meanwhile in Rome, Urs Bühler, captain of the Swiss Guards, comes across a shadowy syndicate and the name of Aleister Crowley.
