Some treasures are worth killing for. Others could change the course of history.
After returning to Chicago from Bangkok, Caz Nowak hopes to leave the bloodshed behind and build a peaceful life with his wife, Meaw, and their adopted daughter, Tangmo. But when a legendary relic known as the True Cross surfaces in Las Vegas, powerful enemies emerge from every direction.
International crime syndicates, intelligence agencies and men willing to reshape the world all want the relic, and the hunt stretches from the casinos of Las Vegas to the neighborhoods of Chicago and South Bend. Caz and his allies are caught in a deadly race where family becomes the greatest source of strength. But who will get to the Cross first?
A fast-paced crime thriller and a tale of loyalty and family, CHICAGO COURIER is the second book in the Courier series by Dan Blacharski.
